ADAMU ZING CELEBRATES RAHAB MACHOKO ON 2026 WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AWARD
Chairman of the Governor Kefas Again 2027 Campaign Organisation, Hon. Adamu Umaru Zing, has congratulated the Chairperson of the Stand Up Women Society (SWS), Taraba State Chapter, Mrs. Rahab Machoko, on her recognition as the 2026 Women Empowerment Champion by Stand Up Society for Women International.
Zing described Machoko as a woman of wisdom, courage, faith and substance whose leadership has been characterised by service, compassion and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of women in Taraba State and beyond.
In a congratulatory message, Zing said the award was not only a recognition of Machoko’s achievements but also an acknowledgement of her sustained advocacy for women’s empowerment, peace and people-centred leadership.
He commended her passion for the advancement of women, describing her as a builder, mother and hardworking leader whose dedication to humanity continues to inspire women and younger generations.
“On behalf of myself, my family, friends, political associates and the wonderful people of Taraba State, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to this great and amazing woman whose passion and compassion for the betterment of women is second to none,” Zing stated.

He prayed that God would grant Machoko greater wisdom, strength, good health and grace to continue her service to humanity, describing the honour as a renewed call for her to deepen her commitment to positively impacting lives.
Zing further described Machoko as a “proud daughter of the Mumuye nation,” expressing confidence that her contributions to women’s empowerment and community development would continue to make a lasting impact in Taraba State and Nigeria.
He also used the occasion to reaffirm his support for Governor Agbu Kefas ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in the governor’s electoral prospects.
