CAN Taraba Set to Launch ₦10bn Ultra-Modern Christian Centre in Jalingo
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Taraba State Chapter, is set to achieve a major milestone with the official launch of its ambitious ₦10 billion Ultra-Modern Christian Centre in Jalingo, the Taraba State capital.
The landmark project, which represents a bold investment in the future of the Christian community in the state, is designed to provide a befitting hub for worship, fellowship, conferences, leadership development, capacity building and community service.
The Christian community, friends, partners and well-wishers are expected to converge on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the CAN Secretariat along FGGC Road, Jalingo, for the official launch of the project.
The initiative is being positioned as more than just a physical structure. It is envisioned as a lasting institution that will bring Christians together, strengthen unity and cooperation among churches, provide a platform for leadership development and support programmes that will positively impact communities across Taraba State.
The proposed Ultra-Modern Christian Centre is expected to serve generations of Christians by providing an environment where worshippers, church leaders, youths, women, professionals and community stakeholders can gather for spiritual, educational and developmental activities.
According to the vision behind the project, the centre will also provide a platform for conferences, seminars, training programmes and other initiatives aimed at equipping individuals and strengthening the capacity of the Church to contribute meaningfully to the development of society.
