JALINGO — Taraba State University, Jalingo, is set to hold its Combined 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th Convocation Ceremony on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with graduands from the four academic sets expected to converge with their families, friends, university officials and distinguished guests to celebrate their academic achievements.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Sunday Paul Bako, on behalf of the Management, Staff and entire University Community, has formally invited members of the public to the landmark ceremony.
The combined convocation is expected to provide an opportunity for the institution to celebrate thousands of students who have successfully completed various academic programmes and are now ready to take the next step in their professional and personal lives.
The ceremony will also bring together dignitaries, government officials, academics, traditional and community leaders, alumni, parents, guardians and other stakeholders of the university.
Beyond the presentation of certificates and academic awards, the event is expected to showcase the growth and development of Taraba State University and its contribution to education and human capital development in Taraba State and Nigeria.
The university is expected to use the occasion to highlight its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, research, character development and human capital development, while celebrating the accomplishments of its graduating students.
The convocation will also provide an opportunity for the university community to reflect on the achievements recorded over the years and the institution’s role in producing graduates equipped to contribute meaningfully to society.
Families and friends of the graduands are expected to join the university community in marking the significant milestone, as the graduating sets formally conclude an important chapter of their academic journey.
