Abumila Political Base Commends Sani Danladi Over Greenland University Establishment
The Abumila Political Base, a political support group led by Hon. Abubakar Inuwa, popularly known as Garba Pele, has commended the former Acting Governor of Taraba State, Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi, for establishing Greenland University in Jalingo, the state capital.
The group gave the commendation during a courtesy visit to Senator Sani Danladi at the university premises in Jalingo.
Speaking during the visit, the leader of the group, Hon. Abubakar Inuwa, described the establishment of Greenland University as a laudable initiative capable of contributing significantly to the educational and socio-economic development of Taraba State.
Garba Pele said the initiative demonstrated Senator Sani Danladi’s commitment to contributing positively to society, describing him as a politician who had consistently shown concern for the development and welfare of the people.
He noted that the establishment of the university would not only expand access to higher education but would also create employment opportunities for residents of the state and contribute to the development of skilled manpower.
According to him, the institution would provide young people with opportunities to acquire knowledge and skills that would enable them to contribute meaningfully to the development of Taraba State and Nigeria at large.
Garba Pele further commended Senator Danladi for investing in the education sector, stressing that education remained one of the most effective ways of preparing future generations for leadership and productive participation in society.
He said the Abumila Political Base considered the establishment of the university a significant achievement worthy of recognition and encouragement.
Responding, Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi expressed appreciation to the members of the Abumila Political Base for taking the time to visit the institution and for recognizing the importance of the initiative.
He explained that his passion for the development and growth of his people was one of the major motivations behind the establishment of Greenland University.
Senator Danladi said the university was conceived not merely as an educational institution but as an avenue through which young people could acquire quality education and skills needed to improve their lives and contribute to the development of their communities.
He expressed optimism that the institution would, in the years ahead, contribute to human capital development, employment generation and the overall socio-economic advancement of Taraba State.
The former Acting Governor also thanked the group for its support and encouragement, assuring that his commitment to initiatives that promote education and development remained unwavering.
