2027: Taraba lawmaker Useni parades 133 legacy projects to unveil campaign

The first term member representing Donga/Takum/Ussa federal constituency in Taraba state Hon. Mark Bako Useni has paraded 133 projects as his campaign for second term in the coming 2027 election.

Bako Useni won the 2023 election under the platform form of the All Progressives Congress (APC) the election was keenly contested, while Useni was the candidate of the APC, he contested the incumbent Limanmde Shaulu of the NNPP and Chief of Staff to the then state governor Peter Gbana of the PDP.

Useni used three days to take The Nation Newspaper correspondent round the projects he executed within the headquarters and ruler areas of the three local government areas that form the federal constituency.

He said rather than embarking on baseless campaign promises for his second term come 2027, he made it as choice since after the 2023 National Assembly election that his achievements as member representing the people of Donga/Takum/Ussa federal constituency should speak for him if he deserves a second chance from the people.

While in Donga, one of the local areas that formed part of the constituency, Useni presented the Construction of Police station at Nyivu Donga, construction of Road in Nyivu (Ongoing), Instructional materials in Nyivu Primary School and construction of classroom block in Kumbo.

“I provided Solar powered borehole in Kumbo, ongoing construction of a Road in Kumbo, I provided Instructional materials in Kumba primary School, I installed Solar lights at Sanso village, I facilitated the construction of Science laboratory at GDSS Mararaba where I also installed Solar lights at Central primary school Mararaba.

“I sank a solar powered borehole at Nukuruye bakin Kogi, the Market Road Project at Mararaba is ongoing, I installed Solar lights at Gankwe, I provided Instructional materials at Central primary school Mararaba, provided Solar powered borehole at Tor Borogo and install Solar powered borehole at Tudun Wada.

Useni while taking our correspondent round further show the construction of a block of classrooms, office and store with solar at Government Science School Donga, Solar lights at Dozomag primary school Donga provision of Instructional materials at Dauda Kwancha primary school Donga, Construction of a block of classrooms at Govt Day Akate.

He also visited the construction of a block of Classrooms, office and store with Solar at GDSS Tor Damisa, Construction of A block of Classrooms at Tudun Bekhan Primary school, Construction of a block of 6 Classrooms at Primary School Suntai, the ongoing connection of Gayama to electricity to benefit Tudun Wada, Jatau Benye villages.

The inspection team also visited the ongoing construction of type 3 Health Public Centre in Suntai, Installation of Solar lights for Bibinu town, construction of a block of classrooms in Govt Day Nyita, construction of a block of classrooms, office and store with solar at LEA Primary School Nwuhwa
29) Provision of Instructional materials at Mararaba. All in Donga local government area among other projects.

While in Takum local government area, the team visited Gayama primary school where the member made provision of Instructional materials, Construction of a Complete Vocational school in Bete, Construction of a block of Classrooms, office and store with Solar in GDSS Shinku in Chanchanji community he also constructed a block of classrooms in GDSS Manya.

” I Constructed a block of Classrooms with solar in GDSS Fete, I constructed a block of classrooms in GDSS Lufu, I made provision for a solar powered borehole in Gbaondo Takum, I provided a block of Classrooms with Solar in Nyayirim primary school, i constructed a block of Classrooms in Tampa Primary school.

While in Takum, the team visited Pyeri where Useni provided Solar Lights,
he made provision of Solar lights in Kapya and Ungwan Abuja, he provided Solar lights in Takum Motor park, constructed a block of classrooms with solar in GDSS Kutai Amadu and also constructed a block of Classrooms in Adangbe also in Chanchanji community.

“I have offered construction of a block of classrooms with solar in Tor Tsee, a Solar powered borehole in Uko community in Chanchanji, i provided of a solar powered borehole in Lufu Joro Takum, i provision a Solar powered borehole in Bawuru, offered provision of a solar powered borehole in Mutun daya.

“I also offered provision of a solar powered borehole in Bibi, i provided a solar powered borehole in Bete, i Installed solar lights in Bibi, I made provision of instructional materials in Salama Primary School Takum, I Installed solar lights in Alheri primary school Takum and Installed solar lights in Salama primary school Takum.

Useni said he has made provision of Solar powered borehole in Rogo primary school Takum, Constructed 1 kilometer Road in Bete, he made provision of instructional materials in Alheri primary school Takum, offered construction of a block of classrooms with solar in GDSS Malumshe Takum and made provision of instructional materials in Malumshe primary School.

“I provided Instructional materials at Dutse Primary School Takum, Instructional materials at Islamiya primary school Takum, provided Instructional materials at Bete Dogo Gawa, and Rogo Central Primary schools and also provided Instructional materials at Utengyin primary school Bete.

While in Ussa local government area, the team visited a construction of a block of classrooms with solar lights in GDSS Rufu Ussa LGA, construction of a block of classrooms with solar lights in GDSS Kpakya, Construction of a block of classrooms in GDSS Fikyu and where the member provided Solar powered borehole in Kpambo.

“I constructed a block of classrooms with solar lights in GDSS Kpambo, I provided Instructional materials at LEA primary school Kpambo, Yisang, Rufu, and Fikyu Primary schools, I also made provision of Solar peered borehole at Jenuwa Kogi Yangtu Development Area with a construction of a block of classrooms with solar lights at GDSS Jenuwa Gida in Yangtu SDA.

Useni said he has several other projects at GDSS Bika, Kwambai, Suntai, and Kpambo communities in Donga and Yangu areas respectively.
