Kefas Pledges Continued Training, Retraining of Taraba Officials – Taraba News
Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, has pledged his administration’s continued support for the training and retraining of government officials to enhance effective service delivery across the state.
The Governor made the commitment at the conclusion of a leadership training programme for Tarabans drawn from various sectors at the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership Peacekeeping Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State.
Represented by the Chief of Staff, Government House Administration, Jeji Williams, Governor Kefas said the training had equipped participants with the knowledge and skills required to effectively discharge their statutory responsibilities.
He commended the Nigerian Army for providing an enabling environment for the successful completion of the programme and appreciated the government officials and other participants for their dedication and commitment throughout the training.
The Commandant of the Centre, Major General Dangana Allu, who was represented by his Deputy, Brigadier General Gabriel Esho, commended Governor Kefas for partnering with the Centre.
He assured the Governor of the Centre’s continued support in providing relevant training whenever the need arises.
The participants, including the Chief Judge of Taraba State, Justice Joel Filibus Agya; State President of the National Council of Women’s Societies (NCWS), Mercy Garba; and Secretary of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Taraba State Chapter, Doris Filbert, among others, expressed appreciation to Governor Kefas for sponsoring and supporting the training programme.
They described the initiative as timely and beneficial, noting that it would contribute to improved leadership, professionalism and service delivery in Taraba State.
