He urged politicians seeking elective positions ahead of the 2027 elections to tell the people what they intend to do differently, how they plan to finance their programmes and how such programmes would translate into tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.
According to him, the debate around government debt should not become a political weapon, stressing that what should matter to citizens is whether borrowed funds are responsibly applied to projects and programmes that deliver measurable benefits.

He said politicians should be prepared to explain their records where applicable and present clear alternatives where they disagree with existing policies.
He also urged voters to look beyond political rhetoric and demand accountability from those seeking their votes.
