USSA COUNCIL CHAIRMAN APPOINTS 20 SENIOR SPECIAL ASSISTANTS, SCRAPS PA OFFICE
…Directs Batch C appointees to report for documentation September 10

The Executive Chairman of Ussa Local Government Council, Hon. Abershi Musa, has approved the appointment of 20 persons as Senior Special Assistants in what the council described as its Batch C appointments.
The appointments take immediate effect, according to a statement issued by the Corporate Communication Unit of the council.
The council chairman said the appointments were made in line with the Moving Forward Agenda of Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, and efforts to ensure that people at the grassroots benefit from government programmes and projects.
Abershi said his administration would continue to work towards ensuring that residents of Ussa Local Government Area benefit from projects and initiatives of the state government.
He also urged youths in the area to take advantage of various empowerment opportunities provided by the Kefas administration, including overseas scholarship programmes, skills acquisition initiatives and financial grants aimed at improving their socio-economic well-being.

The newly appointed officials have been directed to report to the Office of the Secretary, Ussa Local Government Council, on Thursday, September 10, 2026, for documentation.
In another administrative change, the council announced the scrapping of the Office of the Personal Assistant to the Executive Chairman.
According to the statement, the Special Assistant on Domestic Affairs will henceforth oversee the activities previously handled by the office.
The council chairman congratulated the appointees and charged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, integrity and selfless service to the people of Ussa Local Government Area.
