BOI Seeks Stronger Partnership with Taraba Government
The North-East Divisional Head of the Bank of Industry (BOI), Mr. Sanusi A. Gidado, has visited the Taraba State Government to explore stronger collaboration on economic development, entrepreneurship and job creation.
Gidado made the call during a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government, Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps Ngwii, Esq., in Jalingo.
Receiving the BOI delegation, Kataps said Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration remained committed to strategic partnerships that would promote industrialisation, support businesses and create employment opportunities for residents.
He identified enterprise development and human capital investment as key areas where the state could benefit from deeper collaboration with the bank.
Earlier, Gidado said the visit was aimed at understanding the state’s development priorities and establishing a stronger working relationship between BOI and the Taraba Government.
He assured the government of the bank’s readiness to support viable businesses and investment initiatives capable of contributing to Taraba’s economic growth.
