SHAMSUDDEEN YUSUF APPOINTED TARABA COORDINATOR OF PROGRESSIVE YOUTH COALITION FORUM
Pledges youth empowerment, inclusion and greater participation in governance
Hon. Shamsuddeen Yusuf has been appointed Taraba State Coordinator of the Progressive Youth Coalition Forum, PYCF, under the Northeast Progressive Youth Coalition Forum.
Yusuf, in a statement announcing the development, expressed appreciation to the leadership of the coalition for finding him worthy of the appointment and entrusting him with the responsibility of coordinating its activities in Taraba State.
He described the appointment as a call to service rather than merely occupying a position, pledging to use the opportunity to promote youth development, unity and meaningful participation in leadership and governance.
“This appointment is not merely a position; it is a call to service, responsibility, leadership and greater commitment to the progress and development of our youths and our dear Taraba State,” Yusuf said.
He said his leadership would seek collaboration with young leaders, stakeholders and progressive-minded youths across the state to advance empowerment, inclusion and development.
Yusuf also called on youths across Taraba to see the task as a collective responsibility, stressing that stronger collaboration among young people would help build a more united and progressive youth community.
Accepting the appointment, Yusuf pledged to discharge his responsibilities diligently and with humility.
He thanked the Northeast Progressive Youth Coalition Forum for the confidence reposed in him and prayed for wisdom and strength to succeed in the assignment.
